Carrie Fucile (Scenic Design/Production Advisor) – Carrie Fucile is an artist who works in sculpture, installation, and fibers. She received her B.A. from Dartmouth College and her M.F.A. from Brooklyn College where she received the CERF award. Her work has been exhibited at a wide range of venues in the United States and abroad including Repetti Gallery, Flux Factory, ArtNow Miami, The Directors Lounge, and Galapagos Art Space. Her work has most recently been seen in the show Poison at Curious Matter Gallery and at Midway II during Artscape 2009. She is currently the artist-in-residence at The Bryn Mawr School and a studio resident at Load of Fun.

Alex Hewett (Co-Creator/Actor) – Alex is an actor, psychotherapist, teacher, writer and mother residing in Baltimore. Originally from New Jersey, Alex began performing on stage when she was 5 years old. She is a company member of the Strand Theater, where she was last seen in Graveyard Bride a slightly scripted, mostly improvised performance piece she wrote and developed. Also seen at the Strand as Sylvia in Smolder and last year in multiple roles in the Strand’s first production, Non Stop Realism. Other roles include Adult Bo in Off the Map at Fell’s Point Corner Theater, and the title role of Barbie, in Baltimore Playwight’s Festival production of Barbie, A Doll Her in which she was named Best Lead Actress by BroadwayWorld.com . She has performed at the Kennedy Center’s Page to Stage Festival for the past three years. Alex has appeared in a various local indie films, and has appeared in The Wire, the West Wing, various print ads, commercials, and voice-over projects.
Alex has a Master’s Degree in Psychology from Loyola University in Baltimore and works as a therapist in a private psychology practice. She is also a drama facilitator for a Lagniappe, a non-profit organization that places artists in mental health and hospital facilities, where she runs theater classes at Sheppard Pratt Hospital, and the Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. She teaches drama classes to children at Fell’s Point Corner Theater and just completed a summer theater program for children at the Enoch Pratt Library, Govans Branch.

Lynn Morton (Co-Creator/Director) – Ms. Morton first made contact with the Spoon River Anthology in her junior year of college in Seattle and has been in love with it ever since. She graduated in 2006 from Cornish College of the Arts with a B.F.A in Theatre – Directing and has since done theatre on both coasts. Most recently she earned recognition from the Baltimore Playwrights Festival for her production of Leap Day by local playwright Lee Sapperstein in the 2008-2009 festivities. Before that Ms. Morton directed Watch, A Haunting by Molly Rice in the Strand’s inaugural season. Lynn has also had the pleasure of working at the Tony Award winning Intiman Theatre in Seattle as an assistant to director B.J. Jones on his production of Rounding Third by Richard Dresser. Other memorable times include directing/producing Sweet Eros by Terrence McNally, assistant directing Fen by Caryl Churchill, playing Miss Juliana Tessman in Hedda Gabler and Echo in The Myth Project. In what little free time she has left, she is a Company Member and Literary Manager for Strand Theatre Company, sits as a newly appointed Baltimore Theater Alliance Board Member as well as their Webmaster and is a reader for the Baltimore Playwrights Festival. Next summer she will be returning as a director to Audrey Herman Spotlighters Theatre for the 2010 Baltimore Playwrights Festival entry. By day she works with a non-profit association as a social media marketer and has recently been nominated for a 2009 Baltimore Sun Mobbie (Maryland’s Outstanding Blogs) Award in the Business & Technology category for her writings about how non-profits can harness social media.

Cristina Pterarca (Actor) – Cristina Petrarca received a BFA in Acting and a minor in History from UMBC in the spring of 2007. Prior to that, she appeared in shows such as La Llorona, Liberal Arts, The Love of Don Perlimplin for Belisa in the Garden, A Girl With a Black Eye, Much Ado About Nothing, and a puppet version of Victor Frankenstein. Post graduation she has appeared as Hero in Much Ado About Nothing (for the last time, she swears), as Vi Watch, A Haunting, and as Phaedra in Adelon a short independent film. Her latest work was with the Baltimore Playwright’s Festival’s production of Turducken in which she played Stella (STELLA!) and received a glowing review from the Baltimore Messenger. In her free time (hang on, what’s what again?) she enjoys video games of all shapes, sizes, and genres and delving deep into fantasy novels.

Brad J. Ranno (Sound Designer) is the Theatre Technician at CCBC Essex. Previous design credits include Little Shop of Horrors, Smolder, Walls, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, and The Jungle for the Academic Theatre Program. He is also the technical director for Cockpit-in-Court Theatre at CCBC Essex. Brad holds a BA in theatre from The University of Maryland in College Park, and an MA in Arts Administration from Goucher College. Previously, Brad was the production manager of The Audrey Herman Spotlighters Theatre, and is a designer of lights and sound locally for numerous community theatres. Brad is an artistic associate at Adventure Theatre. Enjoy the show.

Robin Rouse (Actor) – Robin Rouse received her B.A. in Theatre Performance from SUNY ??? years ago. In 1995, she won Baltimore’s Billie Holiday Vocal Competition. Among others, she has appeared with Toby’s Dinner Theatre, The Maryland Arts Festival, and Theatre Hopkins. Most recently, Robin appeared in Walmartopia at Landless Theatre in DC and in Run of the Mill’s Variations on Hope. In August, her first play, Dancing Without You, was produced at Catonsville Theatre Company as part of the Baltimore Playwrights Festival.
